The riichi rules of the KML are almost similar to the EMA rules, so, according to KML president Jaewon Yu there will be no problems for foreigners to play. Jeawon Yu participated in the UK Riichi Open last month and made a great impression there because of the way he played. The subscription fee for the tournament is ₩10,000 (South Korean Won; approx. 9.00 USD)
