SEOUL - The Korean Mahjong League invites players from all over the world to participate in the 2010 Open Korean Riichi Mahjong Championship. This event will take place on October 3rd in the South-Korean capital of Seoul.

The riichi rules of the KML are almost similar to the EMA rules, so, according to KML president Jaewon Yu there will be no problems for foreigners to play. Jeawon Yu participated in the UK Riichi Open last month and made a great impression there because of the way he played.

The subscription fee for the tournament is ₩10,000 (South Korean Won; approx. 9.00 USD)
