WARSAW - Szymon Lasota, the co-organizer of the Open Polish Riichi Mahjong Tournament, is very satisfied about the first international Polish mahjong tournament that has been held in years. "The tournament went very well", he writes from Warsaw. "We had a great sponsor company, which developed a Polish program to play mahjong. It still has some flaws, but we will help them to improve it."
The prizes were rather big: 600 zloty (€145) for the first place, 300zl (€7) for the second place, 200zl (€48) for the third place and 50zl (€12) for the winner of the fourth prize. All participants recieved from 'Prawdziwy Mahjong' T-shirts and their new software game.
