World of Warcraft Mahjong Set

worldofwarcraft

AMSTERDAM, May, 16th - Chinese internet company and World of Warcraft regional publisher NetEase has made a limited edition ‘World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria’-themed mahjong set.

Each set costs 1,288 renminbi (USD209) and includes a fully playable mahjong game, complete with tiles, table mats featuring WoW game maps, dividers and chips, all in a thematic wooden carrying case. The board’s decals are designed to look like artwork straight out of World of Warcraft, with a color palette reminiscent of that used for structures and environments in Mists of Pandaria.
Only 1000 of these mahjong sets will be made available worldwide, although the set only appears to be sold through the Chinese-based company. Pre-orders are being taken right now. More pictures are shown on the NetEase website (link below).

Place 12 must be "Florian GEBAUER"
And the new faces were from Muenster and from Munster. That's all mistakes ;)

The tournament was great in my opinion, there should be some more like it^^

Hi Tomas and Matej,

Well, you are quoting from reliable sources (~_^), so I suppose you must be right… I should read my own newspaper better.

Anyway - it’s the first MERS tournament with three Slovakians on the honorary stand, right?
Congratulations! Hope to meet you all during the European Riichi Championship at Bad Vöslau, later this year.

Riichi event in Moscow ‘Japan House’

tesuji

MOSCOW - The biggest Russian reach mahjong club Tesuji is organizing an open riichi tournament in Moscow on May, 13th. Over forty Russians have already subscribed to the competition,  but Tesuji would also like to invite players from all over Europe to participate.

The rules are very close to JPML-B, with minor differences. Open tanyao is allowed. No red fives are used, there are no double yakuman hands. The primary criterion for the classification will be the average place, the secondary is total score. The full text of the regulations can be found on the Tesuji website.
The tournament will consist of four 90 minutes game hanchan (sessions). The winner will receive a valuable prize. Registration is already open on the club site, the fee is 600 roubles (€15). The venue will be the Business and Cultural Center ‘Japan House’. The competition is not MERS-rated by EMA.
More information can be found here. There you can also find a registration form and a list of regulations for the tournament.
