COPENHAGEN - One month ago, he was the last player but one in the Dutch open riichi championship. But today in Copenhagen - capital of Denmark, where Europe's strongers riichi players reside - Canadian player Senechal Duhaut won the first prize in a field of 32 strong players. Another surprise in the Copenhagen Open: the French riichi players, trendsetters in recent riichi competitions in the UK, in Holland and in their own country, failed to impress.
