rhodo2010WESTERSTEDE, Germany - She won the Paris Open twice, recently in Holland the Cherry Blossom Tournament (riichi mahjong), and just two months ago she was the runner-up at Temse (Belgium) in the Belgian Open.

And today, another victory for Dutch Marianne Croeze. In the Rhododendron Tournament at Westerstede (Germany), she reached to the first place in a Dutch-German in-crowd.

Climax

Robert Rijnders, also from the Netherlands, was, with the same number of table points, the runner up. Third prize was for Galina Beliakova; she was the first German player.

The climax in the thrilling competition did not occur until the last round. Until then, young Kilian Stöckemann was in the lead. But eventually, the winner of the Dortmund Tournament ended on the tenth position.
