GURK - Two Italians on the honorary stage at Gurk: the 'Azzurri' presented themselves well in the first official tournament after the successful OEMC2011 in their country last month. Serena Porrati was the winner of the Austrian Open, with 1 tablepoint ahead of Norbert Zsámboki from Hungary and 2 ahead of her countryman Marco Montebelli.

Right after the top-three finished the new European champion, Ildikó Hargitai from Hungary.

Next week, at Dunaújváros, Hungary, the Hungarian Open will take place. This tournament also counts for the Sisi Cup, which will be won by the player with the best accumulated results of the two national championships. (Final classification of the Sisi Cup 2011 here)
