COPENHAGEN - Jesper Nøhr has won the eighth Danish MCR Open. After six rounds, he had 0.5 table points more than the runner-up, Stefanie Duhme from Germany and 1.5 more than Joe-Calberson Huynh from France, who won the third prize. The rest of the top-ten places in Copenhagen were all for Danish players. 44 players competed in the event.

Jesper was already in the lead after the first day was concluded. After the fifth session, Henrik Leth followed him by 3.5 points. Both Jesper and Henrik scored just one point in the sixth and final round. For Jesper this was enough to win his first Danish championship, but Henrik dropped to position number 4.
