Klara Takacsne Löwinger, winner of the Orchid Tournament.BADEN - And also the Third Baden Mahjong Open was won by a foreign player… Just like in 2008, there was a winner from Hungary: Klara Takacsne Löwinger. It was her first victory in an international tournament. 28 players from four countries played in the ‘Orchid Tournament’.

Runner-up was  Eszter Varnai, also frum Hungary. Best Austrian player was Norbert Tschinkel. Thanks to this, the Baden club champion earned his ticket for the WMC 2010 in the Netherlands.

The Orchid Tournament was also decisive for the Austrian Championship. This was won by Martin Scheichenbauer.
