Final Team Classification of the 4th Open European Mahjong Championship

World of Warcraft Mahjong Set

AMSTERDAM, May, 16th - Chinese internet company and World of Warcraft regional publisher NetEase has made a limited edition ‘World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria’-themed mahjong set.

Each set costs 1,288 renminbi (USD209) and includes a fully playable mahjong game, complete with tiles, table mats featuring WoW game maps, dividers and chips, all in a thematic wooden carrying case. The board’s decals are designed to look like artwork straight out of World of Warcraft, with a color palette reminiscent of that used for structures and environments in Mists of Pandaria.
Only 1000 of these mahjong sets will be made available worldwide, although the set only appears to be sold through the Chinese-based company. Pre-orders are being taken right now. More pictures are shown on the NetEase website (link below).

Maybe not for the OEMC referees, but Mahjong News sure needs to do some investigation.
I don't know why Rui Manuel Machado and Ombretta Tassinari didn't show up, and it seems the article's author didn't know either.

It's unbelievable that a newspaper shows only one point of view without the opinions of the concerned parties, while lacking to present essential fact like why did the players have not shown up.

Excuse me Adrie if I seem aggressive, I understand your griefs, but it looks like you didn't know what you're talking about.

12 mini-points enough

In the very last hand in Mestre, Rudy Kopmanis fed me a 16 point hand, thereby giving me the first place with only 12 mini-points. Rudy, who led the table before the last hand, ended up in fourth place with -9. Rudy was of course already waiting. I was catapulted 40 places in the final ranking, while Rudy lost a possible top-20 placing. Indeed a cut-throat game.
