“With our mahjong software, players all over the world can play mahjong against each other”, Jonas Alm, CEO for Mahjong Logic, is quoted in a press release. According to this report, it is ‘the first true network based mahjong solution on the market’. Five licensees already should have signed with Mahjong Logic. “Two licensees have been beta testing the software during the summer and the feedback from players has been very positive. Mahjong Logic will offer play money for the next 6-8 weeks before launching real money games, pending their gaming license in the Isle of Man. Money The licensees that have beta tested the software, are MahjonggExpress.com and eMahjong. On their websites, the beta version of the mahjong game (for Windows and for Intel-based Macs) can be downloaded to play. For mahjong, players can choose between Chinese Classical, International Rules (a.k.a. Mahjong Competition Rules or Chinese Official) and Riichi Mahjong. Stockholm Mahjong Logic is a software development company, founded in Stockholm, Sweden. It focuses on creating software for the gaming markets that are faster, more stable and flexible than others in the market. Mahjong Logic wants to offer ‘complete online mahjong solutions’, where the customer can choose from a variety of software setups and solutions.

STOCKHOLM - There is new competition for MahjongTime and other servers, which offer mahjong games on the internet. Online gaming software developer Mahjong Logic has announced the launch of their Mahjong Logic Network. Mahjong Logic calls it 'a new and innovative online mahjong software solution', aimed at a target group with over 700 million potential players worldwide.
After downloading and installing the free client software, players have to login to the webserver, where they will be able to choose to play for fun or for real money. When playing for fun, one only needs to register with and email address.
Players who want to play for real money, have to register for an account and deposit funds into that account. They can choose to play at express tables with 2,3 or 4 players, play sit and go, or multi table tournaments.
