SHANGHAI - A man was stabbed to death at noon yesterday by a drunk man following a quarrel in a mahjong parlor in the city’s Yangpu District. The tragedy happened around 1:30pm when the 40-something attacker, reeking of alcohol, entered the house and shouted. The victim, surnamed Zhou, 39, who owned the mahjong parlor, tried to stop the unwelcome visitor, some witnesses said.
The two fought and the drunken man took out a fruit knife and stabbed Zhou in the belly. Zhou fell to the ground and went into a coma. Zhou, a native of Jiangsu Province, was rushed to the hospital but was pronounced dead there. Police said they quickly caught the killer.

How can you claim to be an independant journalist when you relay second-hand, unverifiable stories, that, from what all we can know, might very well be embellished or pure fictions?
