Picture © Mahjong LogicUTRECHT - If one company is looking with Argus' eyes at the current developments with MahjongTime, it is the Swedish software business Mahjong Logic. Mahjong Logic is in the stage of beta testing its online mahjong game, which will run on a number of servers.

Mr. Jonas Alm,  CEO of Mahjong Logic, says that he is interested in sponsor activities. “We have already started to research several sponsorship opportunities, however: since we are not running our own brand, we will discuss with our partners who will be interested in this.”

For the Dutch mahjong association, as the organizer of the World Championship 2010, this will be good news, since Mahjong Time has stopped its sponsor activities. MahjongNews has learned that there are already preliminary contacts with Mahjong Logic. In the Western world, it is very hard to find sponsors for mahjong events.

Money

According to Jonas Alm, Mahjong Logic had wanted to have its game launched last week already. But the company is still waiting for a license, which is compulsary for online money games.

Jonas AlmMr. Alm: "Our hearing on the Isle of Man was postponed from 2nd November until 7th of December. We should have the license the day after. We are speeding up and will go live with real money in December. We are hiring more personnel and expanding our operation, mainly on the operational side to be able to handle current and future clients."

Six licensees with a total of eight sites will be ready for launch once real money is made available. Mr. Alm: "We are also talking with several large operators and trust that we will sign additional licensees in the coming months." Until now, Mahjong Logic has five licensees: Imahjong, Emahjong.net, AllStar, MahjongWorld and MahjongExpress

I'm finding it a little overwhelming with the amount of different sites running essentially the same software, but I do not really want to download the software one time for each of the sites, and register to each of them to check what the activity and scheduling for events are like on each, could anyone who has tried one or more of these please share your experiences on these aspects?

Thanks in advance,

Either you register at emahjong.net or i-mahjong.com you end up at the same tables and tournaments on the Mahjong Logic server. If you want to play, only one account suffices.
Trying to cheat it appears that logging in on two accounts at the same time is blocked.

I play at MahjongExpress.com, they seem to have the highest deposit bonus. Once inside its basically the same what I seen so far.
