The seven Chinese players who played both Chongqing and Toulouse tournament did not do that well in either of them. They might be unlucky at both tournaments; to my mind they were not among the strongest MCR players you can find in China.

I do not know how much the relative luck I enjoyed eased my games in WMC, but I got the impression that the average level of Chinese players was not signifantly higher than the one of European players, save a minority of them who played amazingly.

How many European players participated and won in International Tournaments in China?
Evaluate the game by all means. If you call yourselves 'International',please do not invite people from other countries and make fun of them.It is in bad taste.

Casino Lisboa opens mahjong room with 20 tables

Casino-Lisboa-300x299MACAU - A new mahjong centre opened last week at Casino Lisboa. The New Golden Mahjong Centre currently features 20 tables.

“The casinos have now only just recognised mahjong’s potential and are starting to capitalise on it,” Ben Lee, a Macau-based gaming consultant with IGamiX Management and Consulting, told gaming portal GamblingCompliance.
In the second quarter of 2012, mahjong gaming revenue reached MOP57 million (US$7.1 million), up by a staggering 256.3 percent year-on-year, figures released by the Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau show.
According to GamblingCompliance, Alex Lee Shiu Ming, who has ties to the junket business in Macau, heads the New Golden Mahjong Centre.
