Europe may host 1st WC Riichi. Maybe

AMSTERDAM, the Netherlands, January, 27th - There is a chance that a first world championship riichi mahjong will be held the years to come. And this might very well take place somewhere in Europe. Thomas Kragh winner of first European Riichi Championship

HANOVER - Denmark has a new mahjong champion! Last year, in Copenhagen, Martin Wedel Jacobsen was crowned as the European Champion Mahjong Competition Rules. Just one year later, another Dane won a European title, which means that Denmark really can be called Mahjong Country Number 1 of Europe.
