Cover of 'Step by Step'ROTTERDAM - Dutch mahjong player Adrie van Geffen has published an English translation of his mahjong course book, 'Step by step'. The book is a mixture of lessons in Mahjong Competition Rules (MCR) and some of his columns he wrote for Mahjong Magazine of the Dutch mahjong association.

Adrie van GeffenThe textbook, 'Step by step', is a translation of book with the same name that was published last year in the Netherlands. For his translation, Mr. Van Geffen was assisted by British mahjong player Chris Redmond.

The book is a good starting point for the very beginner, in mahjong as well as in the complicated mahjong competition rules.  Adrie van Geffen indeed goes 'step by step' with the reader through the rules and regulations of this mahjong variant.

Adrie van Geffen is also a guest columnist of MahjongNews.Com. To read his column, click here.
