| A bit more on topic, even at the WSoM which adapted the Zung Jung rules (with some scoring alterations?) they changed the min requirements (0 points, anything goes provided 4 combinations and the eyes) to 5 points which means (if i recall correctly) concealed hand or all simples or all chow hand or a pung seat wind/dragon. Still relative easy, but not as easy as anything goes. The 8 point minimum in MCR seems high (matter of opinion), but it's not that harsh because of the variaty how to get it. |
