The most recent poll of Mahjong News was launched on the occasion of the mahjong server eMahjong (Mahjong Logic) going on line. On this server, there is much more emphasis on playing for money than on, let’s say, the server of Mahjong Time. Ninety visitors of this site filled in the poll. The pros (‘No problem, it is OK to play mahjong for money online') outnumbered the cons (‘Too bad, I like online competitions but don't play for money’) just slightly: 47 against 43 votes (52.2 against 47.8 percent). Visitors of the Dutch site MahjongNews.NL voted more conservatively: 75 percent voted against playing for money, 25 percent did not see any objection (18 against 6 votes). The new poll is something else: what is your opinion but mahjong machines? Good, bad or ugly? You wil find it on the Front Page of Mahjong News.
