Thomas mails to MahjongNews from his new home in Norway: "I would like to come, but unfortunately I did not attend any of the Danish qualification tournaments because I am in Oslo. So I did not qualify for the Danish list." The Danish player reached to position number 1 during the first EC, Hanover 2008, in spite of strong opponents from the US, Japan and China. Soon after that event, he moved to Norway. He did make it to the OEMC 2009 at Baden, Austria, though, where in the final classification he ended on position number 105. Thomas does have a wish for the forthcoming Hanover event: "I hope it will be a great tournament for the rest of you." |
