NANJING - A woman in Nanjing, Jiangsu province was mistaken for a thief after she made off with an electric-powered bike that looked the same as her husband's. Wang's husband was allegedly addicted to mahjong and did not return home on the evening of Nov 6. When Wang walked onto the street the next morning, she saw an unlocked bike by the street. Suspecting that her husband forgot to lock his vehicle because of his gambling habit, Wang rode the bike away without informing him. But Wang was soon stopped by a woman surnamed Zhang, who turned out to be the owner of the bike she took off with. Only after Wang's husband rode his own bike to the scene did Wang, Zhang and police know Wang had mistaken Zhang's bike for her husband's. Police let Wang go and did not punish her. On the occasion of the 100th MERS tournament, directors Bram van Erkel and Jelte Rep have granted permission to publish online the movies they made on the occasion of the first MERS tournament, the OEMC2005 in Nijmegen, the Netherlands.
Mr. Van Erkel and Mr. Rep made a documentary about the competition, which now can be watched on YouTube.
