iPhone 3GsNIJMEGEN - MahjongNews.Com has developed a new service. From now on, the site also can be visited easily with the latest generation of mobile phones.

Devices like the iPhone, iPod Touch, HTC Magic and so one, are already able to visit the regular site of MahjongNews.Com. But the screen is way too wide to make reading a real pleasure.

That is why the staff of MahjongNews.Com has decided to design a special website for the mobile: 'M MahjongNews', in which 'M' stands for mobile. With even more compact information - although some longer reports still are possible. Tables with the results of tournaments, but also the ranking lists with hundreds of names, they can be read quite well on the iPhone.

United States

Back in 1997, MahjongNews.Com was amongst the very first websites which were dedicated to mahjong. Initially, the site was called 'Mahjong in Holland'. But since many visitors came from other European countries, and even from the United States and Asia, the idea soon was born to launch an international edition, called MahjongNews.Com, in addition to MahjongNews.NL. Each day, over 400 visitors surf to MahjongNews, for their shot of mahjong news.

Now, you do not even have to be at home or in the office anymore to do so. With your mobile phone, you can visit MahjongNews even when in the train or in a lunchroom. As long as you have internet access. It is easy to make a bookmark of the site on the springboard of your iPhone.

Logo of 'M MahjongNews'MahjongNews considers the mobile phone as an interesting addition to its - free! - services. Recently, MahjongNews opened a Twitter account. Those who 'follow' MahjongNews on Twitter, are automatically notified when a new article is added to the site. For quite some time, it has been possible to get similar notifications thanks to the RSS feeds, which can be read using special news readers. Some mail clients are able to retrieve RSS feeds as well.

M MahjongNews will start rather modestly, with only the latest news from the 'mother site', MahjongNews.Com. But in the coming months, the amount of information which can be found on M MahjongNews will grow and grow, so, eventually, it will be a fully fledged service for all those who are addicted to the Game of A 1,000 Intelligences.

Make sure to add a bookmark on your mobile phone of M MahjongNews.Com
