Thomas Kragh wins Aarhus Open

AARHUS, Denmark, February 9th - Thomas Kragh is the winner of the Third Aarhus Open Championship, held today in Aarhus, Denmark. Although he did not have a 100 percent score, he beat the runner up of the tournament, Henrik Leth, with no less than 6 points.

Sixteen players competed in the tournament, amongst whom two Finnish players and one player from the Netherlands. Remarkable: this was the first international MERS tournament in a long time which was not attended by Dutch 'multiplayer' Anton Kösters. The event had a 1 point qualification for the European ranking. The only Dutch player, Hans van der Poel, won third prize.
